Utah State football: Aggies snap losing skid by pulling away from Fresno State, 38-20

LOGAN — Utah State quarterback Kent Myers threw for 188 yards and three touchdowns as the Aggies pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Fresno State 38-20 at Maverik Stadium late Saturday night.

The Aggies (3-4, 1-3 Mountain West) snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating the conference foe Bulldogs (1-7, 0-4). Utah State took the lead for good after Austin Cheney recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a touchdown, giving the Aggies a 14-7 lead in the second quarter.

While Fresno State entered the fourth quarter trailing only 24-17, the Aggies used a pair of touchdowns to put the Bulldogs away.
