Logan • T.J. Bell scored a layup with two seconds remaining Saturday night, lifting Indiana State to a 62-61 victory over Utah State at the Spectrum.
The Aggies led by 16 in the first half, but the Sycamores rallied. Brenton Scott's layup with 1:02 left made it 60-59.
Utah State regained a 61-60 lead with 9.8 seconds remaining when freshman Koby McEwen made two free throws.`
After a timeout, however, Scott hurried the ball up the floor and seemed to lose control of it as he drove across the lane. But it went to Bell, who was alone under the basket.
