Utah State’s golf team has received the all-academic team award from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), it was announced Wednesday.
During the 2016-17 academic year, Utah State’s golf team had an overall grade point average of 3.04, marking the third time in the last five years it has been recognized by the GCAA for academic excellence.
Utah State was one of six Mountain West schools to be honored and one of four programs from the state of Utah to be recognized. Overall, 102 Division I golf teams received the all-academic team award from the GCAA.
