Utah State senior golfer Tanner Jenson carded a final round of even-par 72 and finished tied for ninth with a 5-under 211 at the Colorado-hosted Mark Simpson Invitational held Monday and Tuesday at the Colorado National Golf Club.
For Jenson, it is his fifth-career top-10 finish as he now has 16 rounds under par and eight rounds in the 60s during his collegiate career.
Utah State, which began the day in 14th place, shot an even-par 288 to move into a tie for ninth with its 5-over 869 (296-285-288). For USU, it has now recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in its two tournaments this fall.
