USU cross-country: USU teams picked sixth in Mountain West Pre-Championship Cross Country Coaches’ Polls

Utah State’s men’s and women’s cross-country teams were both picked sixth in the Mountain West Pre-Championship Cross Country Coaches’ Polls, which were released Wednesday morning by the conference office.

On the men’s side, No. 17 Colorado State received six first-place votes and 48 points to claim the top spot. No. 24 Boise State was second, snagging a first-place vote along with 87 points, while Air Force came in third with one first-place vote and 81 points. New Mexico secured the fourth spot (28) followed by Wyoming in fifth (23). The Aggies garnered 22 points for sixth, while San José State (13) and Fresno State (nine) rounded out the poll.
