SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz will host another workout Wednesday as they continue to prepare for the June 23 draft.
This pre-draft tryout includes several higher-profile players, including teen phenom Thon Maker, a 7-foot big man from Australia and Sudan; projected first-round pick Demetrius Jackson, a Notre Dame point guard; and North Carolina guard Marcus Paige, who hit that ridiculous game-tying 3-pointer late in the NCAA championship game that his team ended up losing to Villanova after a buzzer-beater.
The three other players in the six-man group are Georgia Tech guard Marcus Georges-Hunt, Gonzaga guard Eric McClellan and Virginia center Mike Tobey.
