Utah Jazz Wing Chris Johnson Suffers Head Injury

We’re only three days into training camp for the Utah Jazz and the team has already suffered its first injury. Chris Johnson, who played for the team last season and impressed during NBA Summer League action, suffered a head injury during Wednesday night’s practice session.

According to the team, the injury occurred when Johnson was the recipient of an errant elbow from a teammate–

Injury Update: Chris Johnson has been diagnosed with a concussion after an elbow to the head in last night's practice.

Johnson did not practice on Thursday and will have to go through the league’s concussion protocol before he is allowed to resume on-court activities.
