Michael Jordan gives $2 million; looks to build backs, police trust

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Michael Jordan is trying to help ease tension between African-Americans and law enforcement.

The NBA great and Charlotte Hornets owner said Monday he's giving $1 million to the Institute for Community-Police Relations and $1 million to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
