Jazz notes: Rodney Hood playing through soreness

LOS ANGELES — Rodney Hood isn’t completely healthy, but that wasn’t about to stop him from playing again Monday night.

That was good news for the Jazz, who were missing three key players (George Hill, Derrick Favors and Alec Burks) because of injuries and their head coach (Quin Snyder) because of an illness against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hood described his left hamstring as feeling sore. That leg injury kept him out of one game last week and was reaggravated Saturday when he was fouled from behind by Kenneth Faried in Utah’s win over Denver.

“I just continue to get through it,” Hood said.
