ATLANTA — Paul Millsap became an All-Star in his first two years with Atlanta and helped lead the Hawks to their first Eastern Conference finals.
He's back for at least two more years on a new contract which doubles his annual pay.
The Hawks have reached an agreement to re-sign Millsap, a person with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person requested anonymity because the deal can't be finalized until July 9.
The person said the agreement is a two-year deal with a player option for a third year that makes the contract worth $58.
