The men’s golf team’s final regular season event was discontinued after two rounds following rain and lighting delays.
If there was a bright spot for the Mavericks, it was all five golfers shooting an even par in what turned out to be the event’s final round.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen any team do that,” junior Aaron Guanlao said. “We’re feeling really good heading into the conference championship.”
Guanlao, senior Zach Galliford, sophomore Tanner Gore, senior Josh Radcliff and sophomore Camilo Avila each shot 72 during the second round of play at the Jim West Intercollegiate.
