While nearing the start of volleyball season, head coach J.T. Wenger announced two new additions to the 2017 roster Friday afternoon.
The additions include Tessa Harfield, a middle blocker from Northwest High School, and Haley Higgins, a setter and outside hitter from Henderson State University.
While at Northwest High School, Harfield was a three-time Academic All-District honoree, a first-team 4-5A all-district selection in 2013 and was named Wise County's 2015 blocker of the year.
While at Henderson State University, Higgins had 546 assists, 136 digs and 90 kills, which helped lead the team to its first conference championship in program history.
