The volleyball team will return from an 0-3 trip at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi to host the UT Arlington Invitational Friday and Saturday at College Park Center.
Mavericks embarked on a road stretch shortly after the start of the season, playing eight games over the course of three weeks.
Freshman libero Taylor Murata said it feels good to be back after the three-week stretch.
“Being able to come and compete on our home court gives us an advantage and kind of makes us pumped up to play,” Murata said.
The team’s return to their home court also comes after a five-day break, the team’s longest resting period this season.
