Coming off a 27-9 season, the defending Sun Belt Conference champions look toward the 2017-18 season as the nonconference schedule was released Monday afternoon.
The men’s basketball team will play six of 13 nonconference games on its home court, starting with Loyola Marymount Univeristy on Nov. 11.
“Last year, nobody wanted to play us, so we had to schedule so many games on the road,” head coach Scott Cross said. “A lot of the games this year are returning games.”
Following its home opener, the team will travel to Provo, Utah, on Nov. 18 for a chance at a rematch against Brigham Young University.
