The men's cross-country team placed third in the 8,000-meter run at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Friday.
Senior long-distance runner Craig Lautenslager earned his second top five finish of the season with an individual time of 24:34.8, good for third place overall.
Head coach John Sauerhage said the men's team is peaking at the right time.
"The men are getting it together," Sauerhage said to www.utamavs.com. "We had a great week of training, and they came out and showed it today. We should be ready for the Sun Belt meet in two weeks.
