Kevon Seymour Drafted In Sixth Round

USC cornerback Kevon Seymour was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (218th overall pick) of the 2016 NFL Draft on Saturday (April 30), giving the Trojans 4 draftees this year.

USC now has had a national-best 496 players drafted in history, ahead of runner-up Notre Dame’s 293. USC and Michigan are the only schools with an NFL draftee every year since 1939.

After the NFL Draft concluded, several other Trojans announced that they intended to sign free agent contracts with NFL teams: defensive tackles Antwaun Woods with the Tennessee Titans and Delvon Simmons with the Indianapolis Colts, defensive end Claude Pelon with the New York Jets, fullback Soma Vainuku with the Houston Texans and tailback Tre Madden with the Seattle Seahawks.
