Jordan Simmons hoped to play another season with USC football in 2016. Instead, the offensive lineman will get his shot at an NFL roster after signing with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent.
Simmons went unselected in the 2017 NFL Draft after he was denied a sixth-year of eligibility by the NCAA.
Though he can’t come back to USC, the guard won’t travel far to pursue his NFL dream, heading just a few hours north.
