USC offensive lineman Chad Wheeler is headed to the Big Apple, landing with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. He was one of a handful of Trojans to go undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, along with Justin Davis, Damien Mama and Darreus Rogers.
USC’s most experienced offensive lineman in 2016, Wheeler started 42 games for the Trojans going back to 2013 when he made Athlon’s Freshman All-American third team.
An injury cut short his sophomore season but he still took home the Bob Chandler Award for excellent athletic and academic achievement and character.
