Idaho, a 15-point underdog, upsets UNLV, 33-30

Matt Linehan threw a game-winning 11-yard touchdown pass to Callen Hightower to lift Idaho to a 33-30 upset win over UNLV in overtime before an announced crowd of 17,229 on Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium.

The Rebels (1-3) had the ball first in overtime, but settled for a 23-yard field goal by Evan Pantels after quarterback Johnny Stanton ran for 17 yards on the first play of the extra session.

UNLV, which never led, was a 15-point favorite over Idaho (2-2), which had lost its previous two games at Washington and Washington State by a combined score of 115-20.
