U.S. national team defender/midfielder Fabian Johnson fired home a late equalizer for Borussia Monchengladbach in a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Leipzig on Wednesday.
With his team trailing 1-0, Johnson collected a pass on the right flank and cut in before delivering a low finish in the 84th minute. It was Johnson's first goal of the Bundesliga campaign.
The draw moved Gladbach's league record to 2-1-1 on the season. The club will have a quick turnaround, as it returns home to face Ingolstadt on Saturday.
