It's two wins in two matches for the United States Under-17 national team at the Nike Friendlies. After beating Portugal by a 7-1 margin, they followed it up with a 5-1 victory over Turkey at the Premier Sports Complex in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Turkey opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a goal from Recep Gul, after the Americans failed to clean up a deep run from Atalay Babacan.

The U.S. responded in the 24th minute. Ayo Akinola hit a cross that was acrobatically redirected by Josh Sargent into the path of Andrew Carleton. The Atlanta United signing calmly finished.
