This is Josh Sargent’s world; we just live in it. The 17-year-old American has done it again, finishing off his third goal in three halves at the U-20 World Cup. This time it’s an impressive touch, turn and finish with his left foot to complete a brilliant build-up that involved Tyler Adams and Luca de la Torre.
The goal gave the U.S. the lead going into halftime. Rumors are abound that Sargent has some sort of agreement in place with Bundesliga side Werder Bremen to sign a contract when he turns 18. At this rate he might want to hold off.
