Geoff Cameron and Stoke City aren’t getting a divorce anytime soon. The United States international officially agreed to a two-year contract extension on Friday, the club announced. His new deal will run through the 2019-20 season.

Cameron, 31, has only played for two first-division clubs throughout the entirety of his career. After making a name for himself with the Houston Dynamo in MLS he made the move to England and signed with Stoke in 2012 where he’s played 148 matches for the club. He’s been a valuable and versatile cog in the team through his stay, despite playing under a couple of different managers and systems.
