UConn Baseball Shuts Out Seton Hall in Game 3

UConn Baseball took its final non-conference series of the year with a 4-0 shutout win over Seton Hall on Sunday at Owen T. Carroll Field. It was the Huskies’ second shutout of the year.

While Seton Hall only registered four hits, the Pirates had plenty of runners, stranding 15 on base. The UConn pitching staff’s lack of control contributed to that total with 10 walks on the afternoon.

Catcher Zac Susi (2-for-4) was the only Husky with multiple hits. Third baseman Willy Yahn (1-for-4) scored two runs and had a pair of RBI as well.

Starter Mason Feole, control issues aside, had a strong outing.
