For Now, Sun's Elizabeth Williams Is Focused On Basketball

UNCASVILLE — In her Duke career, during which she became the first four-time All-American in the history of the Atlantic Coast Conference, Elizabeth Williams was often preoccupied by a lofty goal away from basketball.

Williams, a 6-3 center and daughter of a doctor, wants to follow her father's footsteps, so her course load became as daunting as the challenge of dominating the ACC in rebounding and shot-blocking.

"It was not easy and the toughest was probably my sophomore year, the time when you are really deciding what it is you want to major in," Williams said.
