Until a player signs a national letter of intent, teams don’t necessarily have a lock on their commits. Today, the UCLA Football team found that out once again as 3-star Louisiana running back AJ Carter decommitted from the Bruins and gave his pledge to LSU.

Carter was the only running back in the 2018 recruiting cycle for the Bruins which means they now have to try to find another for this class.
It was unlikely Carter was going to see time on the field in 2018 with Bruins deep at the running back spot for the next few years.
