UCLA Basketball Head Coach Steve Alford has been doing well on the recruiting trail lately, but unfortuantely missed out on a big catch Wednesday morning.
Alford and the Bruins could not land their seventh commitment for 2017 as 4-star shooting guard MJ Walker (Jonesboro HS/Jonesboro, GA) announced that he will being playing his college ball at Florida State instead of Westwood..
Walker had the Bruins in the mix with Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Ohio State, but ultimately settled on the Seminoles basketball program.
According to Scout.com, Walker is the #1 shooting guard in the south and #4 in the nation.
