Tulsa senior Caitlin Klopfer claimed the 10,000m run title with her time of 34:45.79, while Jenny O'Bryan earned a bronze medal in the same event on Friday evening at the American Athletic Conference Championships at the USF Track and Field Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The conference championship will continue on Saturday and Sunday.
WOMEN:
Caitlin Klopfer won the 10,000m run event with her time of 34:45.79, 1.9 seconds faster than Temple's Michelle Joyce in second place (34:47.69). Jenny O'Bryan earned a bronze medal with her time of 34:54.
