STORRS, Conn. - The University of Tulsa Softball team picked up their third American Athletic Conference series sweep on Sunday morning with an 8-0 win over UConn in five innings at Burrill Family Field. The Hurricane (33-13 Overall, 11-1 The American) had seven different players record a base hit while four drove in at least a run in the win as they won their seventh straight contest overall and seventh straight in league play.
Rylie Spell drove in a team-high four runs on a one for two showing at the plate, picking up her first RBI in the second inning to open the scoring.
