Tulane's bullpen falls apart late in 8-5 loss to Southeastern

Tulane thought Tuesday night was going to be all about its offense, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

The Green Wave (1-3) saw its bullpen come undone late and Southeastern (2-1) caught fire at the plate to come away with an 8-5 victory at Pat Kennelly Diamond at Alumni Stadium.

Tulane pitcher Cole Solesky had a solid outing in his first career start and the Green Wave offense blasted four home runs, but it wasn't enough in the end.

Three Tulane relievers--Chris Colletti,Brandon Issa and Sam Bjorngjeld--combined to give up six runs in the seventh inning and saw the Green Wave's three-run lead turn into a three-run deficit.
