Tulane athletic director Troy Dannen, speaking Friday morning on Dunc & Holder, says the university will build an on-campus performance center. The 110,000-square-foot facility will be built behind Yulman Stadium where there is currently a football practice turf.
"We're working on the final designs of ... a performance center that will benefit everyone here," Dannen said. "I would guess it's a $30 to $35 million-dollar project."
The two-storey building will take the place of the turf field, which will be moved to the rooftop of the new facility.
