The Tulane Green Wave split a doubleheader against the Air Force Academy Falcons Saturday in Turchin Stadium, winning 4-3 in the first game before falling 3-2 in the second.
Tulane got off to a strong start in game two when senior infielder Hunter Williams hit a double to far left field in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Williams was followed by senior outfielder Jerret DeHart, who hit a single that put Williams in scoring position. Senior catcher Jeremy Montalbano hit a single through the right side that scored Williams.
Later in the 4th inning, DeHart was hit by a pitch.
