When Tulane takes the field against the University of Massachusetts, it will be exactly one month since the last time the Green Wave played on the road in its season-opening loss to Wake Forest.
On Saturday, Tulane (2-2) will play the Minutemen (1-3) on the road after three consecutive home games at Yulman Stadium, winning two of those three contests as the Green Wave made several shifts on the way to finding their identity.
Tulane coach Willie Fritz said on Wednesday that starting center Junior Diaz will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on his broken ankle.
