Troy Trojans football notebook: Bridges, Bryant make waves in early practices

TROY – Two of Troy’s younger players have already grabbed head coach Neal Brown’s attention after just three spring practices.

Brown mentioned Tuesday rush defensive end Zo Bridges and wide receiver Alvin Bryant have made strides in the early sessions. Bridges’ development comes at an area of need as the Trojans currently list just two bandits on the roster – Bridges and Terrance Corbett – after Rashad Dillard’s graduation and Sam Lebbie’s move to middle linebacker.

“He was a guy that played a little bit last year,” Brown said. “There’s always a couple of guys that make a huge improvement, even though it’s a short time, over the course of about three months.
