So far this season, Georgia Southern (4-7 overall, 3-4 Sun Belt Conference) has passed 243 times. That is far more than the Eagles threw in 2015 (137 attempts in 13 games) and in 2014 (155 in 12).

While Georgia Southern is still one of the top rushing offenses in the country (224.7 yards per game, 28th in the NCAA), it averages 153.9 yards per game through the air, almost 91 yards better than last year’s tally.
