South Alabama homers twice in 9th for 10-7 walk-off win over Troy

On a long, strange day at Stanky Field, South Alabama got off the deck for five runs in the ninth inning of a 10-7, series-clinching victory over Troy in its final regular-season game Saturday.

Colton Thomas ripped a two-run homer to left field to tie the game, followed shortly thereafter by Wells Davis' three-run walk-off shot to center. With the victory, the Jaguars end the regular season at 36-19 overall, 22-8 in the Sun Belt Conference.

"They've been this way all year long," Calvi said. "You hate to be behind going into the bottom of the ninth, but it's not like we're uncomfortable.
