More wins, top-notch facilities await Troy football

The beginning of a game-changing facility will be in the background as Troy looks to build on its best season in almost a decade this fall.

Third-year head coach Neal Brown returns most of his Trojans team that went 10-3 last season, improving by six wins from his first year in 2015.

Next summer, a $25 million end zone facility in Veterans Memorial Stadium's north end zone encompassing 70,000 square feet is expected to be completed. Construction started during the winter. When it's finished, it will be a four-level facility.

The basement will hold the weight room and go out into the practice field behind the new facility.
