Inter Milan have stepped up their interest in Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela by proposing a swap deal in order to lure him to the San Siro.
According to reports in Italy, the Serie A giants are weighing up the possibility of signing the Argentine in a straight swap for in-demand Marcelo Brozovic.
Croatia international Brozovic is also attracting the interest of Manchester United and Monaco though, so a swap deal could yet cause further complications.
Tottenham are keen to bring in the 24-year-old and bolster their squad during the summer, in order to mount a serious title challenge next season.
