As we enter this period of Remembrance 100 Years on from the Battle of the Somme – to this day still the bloodiest battle in British military history – we shall observe a Minute’s Silence prior to kick-off, during which the Last Post will be played by a Trumpeter of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
We should like to remind fans to please be respectful of this if entering the stadium close to kick-off. Please also note that the period of silence will start and end on the referee’s whistle – not the end of the Last Post.
