After leading the Toronto Raptors to their best season in franchise history, head coach Dwane Casey is expected to have contract extension talks with the team, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.
In 2015-16, Casey coached the Raptors to a franchise-best 56 regular-season wins and their first trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated Toronto with a 113-87 win in Game 6 on Friday.
Casey, who was an assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks during their 2010-11 championship-winning campaign, is 210-184 in five seasons as the head coach in Toronto.
