Cavaliers 113 – Raptors 87: dream deferred

The Toronto Raptors’ longest-ever playoff run ended as the smart money said it would, with a defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Raptors bow out of the Eastern Conference finals by a count of four games to two.

The game might have been interesting had the Raptors gotten any secondary scoring. However, the players not named Kyle Lowry or DeMar DeRozan had no impact. By contrast, the Cavaliers shredded Toronto with absurd shooting, piling up a 17-8 advantage in made 3-balls.

Their scoring came from all over the roster, as LeBron James dished out easy dimes on back cuts or fed open gunners.
