The Toronto Maple Leafs blueline just got a little more crowded with the signing of Matt Hunwick to a two year deal worth $1.2M per season.
The 30 year old Hunwick had 11 points in 55 games last year for the New York Rangers and joins a Leafs blueline that includes Dion Phaneuf, Jake Gardiner, Morgan Rielly, Martin Marincin, Roman Polak, Stephane Robidas and more.
Could this be an indication that someone – or more than one player – is going to be on the move?
