Friday Mashup: Bernier arbitration hearing passes with no deal

The five-hour-long arbitration hearing has taken place and now we wait until Sunday for the settlement, or for the two sides to strike a deal before the arbiter’s ruling is announced.

Leafs expected to argue in part that Bernier's started only 158 NHL games. Not a definitive sample for a goalie.

Like with the PK Subban case, the two sides can continue to work on a deal up until the second before the ruling is announced on Sunday.
