Toronto FC players and staff indulged in some adult beverages following Wednesday’s Eastern Conference final win over the Montreal Impact, but the champagne bottles in the dress room remained corked.
The real celebrating has yet to begin; that would come should the Reds win the MLS Cup at BMO Field on Dec. 10.
“I’m just trying to live in the moment, I’m just trying to enjoy it. But at the same time I’m already thinking about the final, so I’m already thinking about how we can beat Seattle and I think everybody in this room is, too,” midfielder Jonathan Osorio said following Wednesday’s match.
