If anyone did not get enough of the Sebastian Giovinco transfer saga in January, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio brings us another interview with the Toronto FC forward’s agent, Andrea D’Amico.
According to Di Marzio, whose track record is as good as it gets on transfers, Giovinco has already turned down an offer worth €10 million (approximately US$10.5 million) a year from Beijing Guoan. It should be added that there has been no indication Toronto would have allowed him to depart even if he had wanted to.
“Giovinco in China? At the moment, he has turned it down,” D’Amico told Di Marzio.
