Reds have their eyes on MLS prizes

It's hard to believe TFC could get shut out of the individual awards for a second straight season.

Jozy Altidore was Toronto's most consistent scoring threat in the first half of the season, particularly while teammate Sebastian Giovinco was injured.

Toronto FC officially hit the halfway mark of the regular season on Friday night, with a gutsy 2-0 win over the New England Revolution, one of only two teams to beat the Reds this year.

It was TFC’s 10th win of the season, and kept the team unbeaten at home this season. It also gave the Reds a four-point cushion atop both the Eastern Conference and the race for Major League Soccer’s Supporters’ Shield.
