Toronto FC created more distance between themselves and the teams chasing them in the Supporters’ Shield race with a 4-1 victory over the Portland Timbers. Justin Morrow led the way for the reds with a pair goals, bringing him up to five on the season. Victor Vazquez and Marky Delgado also found the back of the net, while Diego Valeri was the only Portland player to reply.
