TORONTO — Just the mention of Dioner Navarro’s return was enough to get any Blue Jay smiling Friday night.
Now part of it might have been the 15 runs the Jays had just put up on the board in a win over the visiting Minnesota Twins, but don’t underestimate the affinity pretty much everyone in that Jays’ clubhouse has for their former teammate, who will join them again Monday in Baltimore.
“I’m excited,” a beaming manager John Gibbons said of the trade which will see Navarro return to Toronto in exchange for minor-league reliever Colton Turner .
