Fantasy free-agent buying guide: Middle infield is strong

Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis was more rookie curiosity than star when the 2015 season began, a modest minor league prospect acquired for outfielder Anthony Gose. Travis didn’t really project to be coveted in fantasy or otherwise, but that’s precisely how he looked like last April when he hit .325 with six home runs. Alas, shoulder woes quickly slowed him and truncated his season. On Wednesday he returned to the Blue Jays and fantasy owners seem excited, to say the least, making him one of the most added middle infielders right away.
