Twins wary of old teammate Colabello

It was about a year ago that Chris Colabello was wearing out the Blue Jays for the Minnesota Twins. This weekend, he’s hoping to return the favour by doing likewise to his old teammates.

In three games against Toronto last April, Colabello went 8-for-14 with five RBI.

This year, with the Jays, he has been on fire, with 32 hits in 83 at-bats for a .386 batting average.

“Chris is probably as hot as anybody on that team right now,” acknowledged Twins manager Paul Molitor.

“We know him, obviously, very well. When he gets hot he has good coverage, uses the whole field.
